I'm not sure how this all came about. But really, we aren't playing that show. We are not. It's not the writer's fault though, we've been listed on the venue's website. Which I also fail to understand.
By the way, "we are without faces" will be online in two days. I'll post it on here and the myspace.

a well adjusted 6 (you are also a 6).

I just found this picture. Apparently last spring I enjoyed hiding behind trees. I should take that up again.
Anyway, the Empty Signals song is remixed. I decided it would make more sense to combine the two songs. So I did that.
"A Well Adjusted 6 (you are also a 6)"
About two years ago, I was in a band called Fingernails and we had a song called "Eyelids". The version recorded at the time was terrible, and I think it was one of those things I just did by myself. Josh, the only other member, may have written a bass part for it. If he did, I don't think we ever recorded it. Anyway, I recently discovered that I seem to have this strange attachment to the song, and I feel I should give it another a chance. Assuming I can effectively alter the arrangements, there's a possibility of it ending up on the next Beautiful Orange Aqueduct release. So I'm working on a demo, and it really sounds nothing like the original.
And unfortunately, I cannot pronounce the word "better" while singing. Even worse, I was told that I sound like James Blunt on a new track I demoed called "Cellophane".
god dammit. i sincerely hope not.

cellophane.

I had intended to post two new Empty Signals songs right now, but I just realized that one of them clips. I think it's the drums. Or "drums". If recording the sound of a water bottle being thrown into a door counts as percussion, then yes, it's the drum parts that clip. These two songs go together, and I don't feel right posting one without the other. So I'll get those online tomorrow.
i'm so tired of all of the flowers you bring
and i'm sick of the words in the songs that we sing
could we shut it down, or just turn it off
rename all the children, reclaim what was lost
Beautiful Orange Aqueduct. We are doing things, but it's hard to say exactly what things. The album has a name.
Text message. Fucking infomercials coming up through the floor. Rooftop activity with Modeselektor.
you have all the time in the world.

you can never have too many lice pictures.
While I have no idea as to what made me announce "we are without faces" when it was still incomplete, it will be online soon. I got rid of three of the songs today, but they all sounded more like a Green Tea Project sort of thing anyway, so they will probably resurface. Lots of happy synth leads dancing around the stereo spectrum. Down-tempo beats manipulated and pulled apart. I missed the point with those.
To the man who continues to bother me at the park everyday-
Please stop. I. am. not. doing. anything. wrong. Do the giant headphones put you off? Your accusatory actions are really unnecessary. I drink coffee and listen to music. I'm well aware other people my age use the area for other purposes, but I do not. So I'm glad that's cleared up; I'm sure you'll read this as soon as I post it.
There's a duck with one wing on the shelf over there.
I recall telling someone that it's actually an eagle.
I shouldn't have done something like that.

running in the half light.

Things are happening.
There's really no new stuff that's ready to be posted just yet. Sorry. Appy-polly-loggies.
"It kind of feels like someone put the world in Photoshop and turned up the saturation."
That was definitely an accurate statement.
but now i can see that there's a way out
go slowly.
